I believe the restrictions of our current lifestyles has led many of us to feel tense, tired and sore.
In my classes I encourage the release of tension, so movement can happen with more freedom, within your own range.
It doesn't matter if you are fit or flexible or not.
Practicing postures and movement with concentration on your body's reaction to the 'shapes', and allowing the breath to be free,
will help lead to mental stillness, which is the essence of a yoga practice.
Strength or flexibility are not the aim, although these are often a by-product of movement and yoga.
I welcome beginners and those with movement experience to all my classes.
